2520 3 Point hitch hit R-4 tires

Swapping the tires/wheels from side to side DOES NOT give you 4 inches of extra width. Mine gained about 1/2 TOTAL. I just did this a couple months ago, and if I don't adjust the turnbuckles perfectely then the **** arms STILL rub the tires.
Its really minor, but kinda annoying!

My 2520's only got like 40 hrs on it and the inside edges of the R4's are completely chewed off at an angle from rubbing.
I just recentely got an I-Match and that makes it ALOT easier to eliminate the rubbing. The lower you make the arms go, the more tire clearance you get, so try to keep the arms as low as you can.

Something is wrong there - you can eliminate the rubbing with or without I-match and using R4's - post some pictures of the rear with the turnbuckles, and we all can compare it to how we have it set up. I do agree if you dont stay on top of it (pins fall out) it will begin to rub again

Hi All,

Has anyone tried wheel spacers to remedy this issue? I know Unverferth will make custom ones for whatever you have need for. I bought a set years ago to adjust row spacing on a Case we had.

I took some photos of the clearance on my 2520. Measured the space and have 2 inches both sides with full deflection left or right. Pictures show turnbuckle mount, pins in turnbuckle and I have added a large nut as a spacer on the box blade hitch pins to force the arms in.

NOW, go raise the arms all the way and measure again! :D

Now you'll be at the tight point, and mine MIGHT have a 3/4 inch if the planets all allign!

With the tires set to the widest point. and arms all the way up. you will never see 3/4 of an inch
maybe a hafe , if your lucky. but if you set it right. it still wont rub...;)

I flipped the wheels, so I gained about 1/4 on each side there too! :D
