2520 3 Point hitch hit R-4 tires

Well as you know i have a Hoe Deadman , you
just like you are suppose to....:D

So my tires had to be flipped to wide. and even with IMatch
with my box blade on. raised all the way up. I can bearly get a finger
between the tire and the arm on eather side....;)
Then again i dont know. maybe my finger is 3/4 of an inch....:D

Chris.....:)

Raised all the way 3/4 on the right, 1 inch on the left. So depending on how high you lift it impacts the clearance you have But with no side to side it's not a problem. Any way a combination of actions were necessary to get it fixed. Poor design. I did see an after market 3 point where the arms come out straight until they are past the tires and then have the necessary bends. Another alternative but with a $300.00 dollar price tag.

Where did you find the aftermarket 3 point alternative?

Check out if your 3pt is hooked up properly. It appears that your spacer is on the wrong side of the draftlink. I offer photo mx35670 on pg 23 of the 2520 operators manual as reference. This is also the way my dealer instructed me to hook mine up.

QUOTE=seldridge279]I took some photos of the clearance on my 2520. Measured the space and have 2 inches both sides with full deflection left or right. Pictures show turnbuckle mount, pins in turnbuckle and I have added a large nut as a spacer on the box blade hitch pins to force the arms in.[/QUOTE]

I have had the spacers on both sides. The current placement is what allowed adjustment enough to clear tires. The photos in the manual are not clear but I re-watched the video provided with the tractor and the 2520 they have in there has the same spacer placement as my 3 point. Also on another note in some of the scenes they have the wheels swapped to the wide position. The manual also states that R4 tires are recommended to be mounted in the wide position. As does the 200CX owners manual. Thanks for the input.

The wide position literally gains 1/4 inch and thats all!

SO what. Every little bit helps. If 1/4 inch makes it clear the tires then it's all good.

Uhhhh I guess a 1/4 inch is more in your world than mine! ;)
