Looks great, very clean and professional. I think I want one now too. Great pics. Did you weld the frame yourself?

Yes. I did the fabrication on my own. Tig welded everything. I think it is a sloppy mess for what I am capable of.

Nice work. Did you line the inside of the steel with something?? Or do you leave the plastic scabbard on the bar??

IE: what do you do to prevent the teeth rubbing and dulling on the inside of the metal "tube"??

Nice saw BTW;) Just the right color. The tractor though..........

 Very nice.

Is that the only saw you have?? IS that the first Dolmar" you have owned? Dolmar doesnt seem to be widely known (poor dealer network). What made you choose the best:D

Choosing the 5105 was based on comments I read here and on another site. I used to have an 029 farm boss ,but I let it go after I purchased the Dolmar. My dealer is not to far away and that helped sell me also. I'm saving my money for the 7400 now. That will be a near perfect combination for my firewood cutting. My friends really like the 5105, I have to tell them I'm using it this week so they don't borrow it all the time.

You must either mean 6400, 7300, or 7900 right? Unless there is a new model they are coming out with that I haven't heard of??

But either one of those three, with a 24" bar would be a good two saw plan with the 5105 IMO:thumbsup:
