- 2010 JD 3520 Cab / Bobcat E35 Cab excavator
Used my new 2520 today. He are some thoughts about it. Only other tractor I can compare it to is my 4010.
Dual hydraulic pumps on the 2520 make a huge difference. Hydraulics seem much faster and smoother. moved around 15 tonnes of brick sand today with no problem. Loads of power and torque!!! Very fast up the road to. Almost 20 km/h.
Larger tires smooth out the ride even more.
High back seat is quite comfortable.
loader joy-stick in very comforatable spot.
200cx comes off easily and goes on easily.
62 on ramp comes off quick and simple. The 3 pth hitch hook up to the deck to move it is ingenious!Though I haven't tried it with PEC yet.
Easier on fuel and a lot less smoke at start up.
3pth implements higher when raised. Don't catch the RB anymore when going up and down over uneven terrain.
Dislikes: The location of the hydraulic hook up seems odd hanging out the side. Liked the 4010's location better.
Over all I am very impressed with the power of this tractor. Lets just hope it runs as well as the 4010 did.
Here is a couple of pic's. Put 2 4" abs pipes and 2 2" abs pipes in ballast box to hold some tools. Couple of bags of cement then topped off with sand.
Can hardley wait to get back at it!
