2538 CAB HST
So I've had my new 2538 CAB HST for a couple weeks now. Love the machine thus far.. played around moving some snow banks & played with the backhoe on said snow banks too, trying to get the feel of it... I do have an issue with the factory made thumb accessory . I did purchase direct from Mahindra, but I can not get it to line up correctly.... photo on the left shows adequate clearance, the one on the the right shows the thumb making contact & wearing off the paint & the misalignment of the thumb to the back hoe arm bushing .... dealer said I might have to be a little forceful with it... the 3rd & 4th pic shows how out of alignment the pin bushings are.... I don't think I'd advise beating it to get it in there... especially when the clearance is already not enough as picture 2 indicates. Any thoughts or suggestions is appreciated, any one else have similar problems? Return it, you should not have to fix their mistakes. It's brand new let the dealer handle it that's his job. Have you showed this to your dealer? Either the metals not bent right or the bushing not aligned properly, hard to tell but clearly not right and being it's new I would let dealer handle it. Good luck

Do you know ho
If it's that far off it's a warranty issue so contact your dealer and get him to take care of it. Do you know who made the hoe? I know KMW makes the hoes and loaders for the 1500s but I'm not sure about your series.

Seems like a quality issue..... If they'll not replace it, or the replacement is as far off. I'd then tapper the shaft more and beat it on. The re-enforcement bracket that's hitting also needs to be ground down some. (assuming you own a grinder) Gee,, isn't buying new trouble free and fun??? :-(
