Require you to spit the tractor?
Yeah for anything down in the tranny, drivetrain you typically have to separate the tractor into two parts in order to get to it. Even just changing the clutch. The very end like the rear PTO you can usually just pop out the back for but anything else you start with busting the tractor in half. It makes working on tractors a bit harder than working on cars and trucks. While I typically do my own work on my truck, I'll cheerfully let my dealer handle the tractor except for the minor servicing stuff.
