Once you get the EGR clean and make sure you are running it hot enough, you should be good to go. I'd either block the radiator some or put a cold front on her. That big extra aggressive multi-blade thing they call a radiator fan it probably great for a guy working his tractor when it is 90 degrees out, but too much of a heatsink to allow it to run at the proper temp in the winter. And the cab has a big heater core with two big squirrel cage blowers sucking heat. ESPECIALLY when it's down around zero like it is now. I have never had a problem idling my tractor for periods. But if you want to work the motor any you want the RPM's up. You can even putt around at 1200-1500 without a load. But any motor load needs the RPM up...
