Last year I bought a used 2015 2565 and the AC wasnt working. The dealer was nice enough to replace the expansion vale (2 times) and the compressor. However, the AC still does not blow below 60F. I called them back and asked the tech what was done to the tractor and he mentioned they flushed the system and it had a lot of black gunk in it. The issue is, per my understanding, you cant flush a condenser properly as the many veins in the condenser will not all get clean. Unfortunately, the replacement part is $800+ for the condenser which includes a dryer assembly. Has anyone had any success with using a generic condenser and adding an external drier?
Alternatively, does anyone know where I can buy a replacement condenser at a reasonable price?
TIA for any advice!
