I have a friend that has a blown 275, 70ish model. He is looking for a short block. He said people r asking for a T# that is on the block and can not find one on it. Has not had any luck around here looking for one. Good tractor and does not want to sell it for parts. Does anyone know where he could find one. We live in SC. Thanks for the help! David

According to tractordata.com, the OEM engine on that tractor is a Perkins AD4.248. I think the the serial numer is on the left side near the block head junction. Go to the Perkins website and there is a serial number guide that you can use to be able to order parts.

No luck on a # at the head/block junction. Also no luck at the perkins website. Found a few phone #s for him so we will see if he has any luck.
