Finally got around to mounting my actuator and motor on the 2750. Really pleased with how everything turned out. Went with a simple mounting system and all in figure it cost me under $200 for the works.

Works great in sub -30c temps and no problems with snow buildup around motors.

Here's a video of the project for those interested:

PS. Princess Auto here in Canada has the power seat motors on sale this week for $6!

Nice project. Bet you can't wait for more snow.

I did a similar a few years back. Only difference was I found the Kubota kits for rotate and angle on ebay, about $ 100 for both. The angle actuator was for a larger blower, but a few new holes fixed that issue. I also terminated to a box wit a connector that I can disconnect easily with the blower. Another small box with the controls attaches similarly to your config.

Do you have any pictures of how the motor is mounted and how you did the coupling. Looks like a nice install.

Paul,

I like your idea of the quick connect! Really nice mounting job you did.

Sure makes it easier than getting off the tractor to adjust the deflector or using the hand crank to rotate the chute doesn't it!

What does that seat motor fit?

Here is your next project. I got mine from, well you see. It was on closeout sale and only cost $ 75. A little mod to the mounting and it does a great job. Makes a big difference when doing my 2200' driveway in blowing snow.

Oh that's exactly what I need! My driveway is similar to yours...nice and long!

Thanks for that tip!
