I really like my 2615 gear. The loader easily lifts full buckets of dirt and rock all the way up.

I see you own a 2810 hydro... I was very surprised how much I liked the shuttle version. It had a very good range of gears plus synchronised. I wonder if the pressure was properly adjusted on the loader? Only thing was dealer (salesman) not to knowledgeable about them...I think he really wanted me to get a JD instead. I do see a 3215 gear but it's turbo..one more thing to weary about and must be expensive.
Any problems w/ your 2810?

The 2810 is a very well built heavy machine with a very POOR lift capacity,
I would spend a couple more pennies and go with the 2815 or the 2615.
The 2815 will lift more than the 2615 and way more than the 2810.
The 2815 will run circles around and out lift the NH.

Thanks for the loader info.

I've been real happy with mine. Well made and rugged. I tried the 2810 gear and found the shifter would crowd my leg in, I think 2nd. I then hopped on the hydro and never looked back. The only problem to date was an alternator failure. I replaced it and all is well. The loader doesn't have the capacity of some others out there but, at the time, I was comparing to the JD 790, MF 1428 and the NH TC30 and it compared well. It is still a good loader, just some are out there with more capacity. It will lift the stated amount if the relief is set correctly, I know, I checked. The capacity can be upgraded with new lift cylinders, some TBN members can help out if desired. Mine just turned 400 hours, I expect it will outlast me. Every once in awhile, while traveling, I stop and look at tractors at whatever dealer I'm going by, and I'm still impressed with my choice. I think that is what every person should feel after spend hard earned $.

You should be able to get a 2615 gear for $14,200 + 0% for 48:D
Just picked mine up Friday- going to be worked tomorrow.

Yes the gear shift is a little long in second gear- Well I modded my tractor today to make it mine- I cut off the shifter at the bend and then put the rubber nob back on very nice and easy to opperate now I also spaced the gas tank back 1" to allow the seat to be slid back more- much better when your 6'+.

I was thinking about the resale value until I came to the conclusion that if I was woing to get rid of the tractor, I would only be upgrading to a larger one so I could always trade it back to the Mahindra dealer. Plus how can you turn down 0% for 48 months.
Good luck
Joel

Joel,

As I also own a 2615 and am also 6'+ (6' 1", actually), you've piqued my interest with your stated modifications. If possible, could you explain in a little more detail how you modified the shifter and gas tank?

Thanks,

BR
