Oil & Fuel 2810 Hydraulic level

How do you check the hydraulic level on a 2810 model. I was told there was a sight glass on the rear end. however there is not one. I have what appears to be a rubber plug with a screw in the middle of it to tighten. I purchased this tractor new and have not removed any sight glass.

I don't have a picture of the rear of our 2810 gear assembled, but it will give you an idea. In the picture below it is circled to the right of the PTO shaft. The transmission was drained, thats why the gauge is all white in the picture. It can be hard to find the first time since the PTO shield blocks it from top view, so you have to bend over and look in at it.

Thanks, that is what I thought. I have a rubber plug there for some reason. Guess I will order a sight glass and replace it.
