del,

Couldn't help it but when someone else buy a tractor from "The World's Largest Manufacturer of Agricultural Equipment" I just get excited...specially on this Orange dominated board! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I'm attempting to attach a picture of the TN90F that I got from the New Holland Website.

Agreed. What I really want to do now is find a frame mounted hoe on a similar size machine (utility) to mine to see if things are different.

Del, mine is blue, yes. I LOVE your excavator idea. Since I have some 5 state prisons within a mile or 2, I might need a different story to get 'em excited.

If I can ever figure out how to attach pictures, I will let you see this unusual machine I have. NH refers to it as an "orchard" or "vineyard" narrow tractor. It has the NH TL series engine (238 ci) turbocharged to put out over 100 gross hp, 80 PTO. If not for the cab (ah, ac) it would almost look like a Boomer. Wife drove a TN75S and declared it too large for our current property.

And she was right.

Supersteer makes it easy to negotiate the narrow passage betw parts of our property.

Rear (radial Goodyears) tires are currently set at 68 inches on the outside, with a max of about 72 I would guess.

I am going to post about my initial impressions of my TN90F on the proper forum later on, but this is a nice "little" machine.

Thanks very much for the continuing help on backhoes. Now I need to get outside and clean the notorious New Holland Italian grey paint out of the cat II hitch balls so I can fit the cat I sleeves and hook up my old cutter before the jungle gets out of hand, prior to new owner taking it away (with my 1720).

As a fellow BLUE owner, Admittedly I own the smallest, I took it upon myself to attach a picture below. /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

Thanks Jim. That is exactly what it looks like. The projection on top is the ac unit (gloat, gloat). I have been blue for 12 years (Ford 1720), but I did consider JD until I was drawn back to NH by the superior features like traction management (4wd comes on only when needed) and of course Supersteer.

Wait until I get my implements, then I will try to figure out how to attach a pic.

Re: TN90F Photo

Nicd photo JimBinMI. I didn't realize your TC18 was THAT nice size of a tractor, or I wouldn't have pulled your leg that much. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

jgh,

That will be great to get some home shots. I just got a new aps camera and hope to scan in some photos of the hardworking TC18! /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

Your cab looks really great, lots of glass and it appears hardly any blindspots!

My TC18 is just slightly smaller /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif, but you better be careful because if you get out of line I now know that I can sick jgh after your little M6800! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Jim, please refrain from posting horsepower figures, it makes some of feel inadequate./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Remember the add for the Godzilla Movie...

SIZE.......DOES.......MATTER

You must start laughing uncontrollably when two guys start arguing on this board about why 30hp is better than 28!

tee hee!

Things to get used to in a new tractor:

1-Not ducking when tree branches come at you
2-Rain? What rain?
3-Thick stuff, even with the old 951 cutter I have for a short while longer, just not a problem. When I get the heavier Hog...small trees, what small trees?
4-Disadvantage of cab AC: the contrast when you exit in 90+ (that's heat and RH)

I just know I have everyone's sympathy.

Gotta get those pics out. Trying again here to attach one.

Jim

Oh, Del, don't forget I happily puttered along with 26/23 Blue (Ford 1720) hp for 12 years until New Blue came yesterday.
