I have a quick hitch compatible class 1 box blade and noticed that that the class 2 adapter bushing kit that came with my tractor isn’t wide enough. Can anyone suggest a kit that I can buy online to fix this either by doubling up the bushings or getting some wider ones?

You don't need a kit. Go to your Kubota dealer. They will have boxes & boxes of bushing of various sizes and widths. I have to run a normal & a short bushing on my box blade to cover the width of the attachment pins.

Tractor Supply also has adapters for $2.50 or so each if you have one closer.

I have the same issue with my new Frontier box blade. It was bought from the JD dealer with the imatch bushings included, they sent the wrong ones and all the ones they make are too narrow to fit properly. Kind of a stupid problem to have.

I feel like if you are going to say your product is quick-hitch compatible knowing your customer will need to buy 12-20 dollars of bushings it is semi-misleading. I think there is only one quick hitch that actually just uses the size of CAT1 pins. All the rest require 1-2 steps up. CAT1-CAT2 and a CAT2-CAT3. Seems like you could just make one that goes from CAT1 to CAT3 and let the customer cut it to fit.

They do make Cat1-Cat3 "quick hitch" adapter bushings. Making something quick hitch "compatible" doesn't mean it isn't non-QH ready. Thus, factory installed cat 1 pins are appropriate. Since most folks don't use a QH, why include useless extra parts? However, a good dealer should enquire if you use a QH and make sure you go out the door with a set of bushings for your shiny new toy.

If it takes you $12-20 in bushings to fit an implement to a QH you are buying bushings at the wrong place.

I bought cat 1-2 and cat 2-3 collars/adaptors at TSC. Lots cheaper than the expensive ones they sell to affix permanently onto implements for QHs. These collars/adaptors are a bit wider than the lift arm holes and would help a lot to fill space.

Ended up buying adapters from Tractor Supply. They aren't quite wide enough and they are too wide to double stack the ones adapters the tractor came with. I have no interest in a quick hitch and think the dealer sold me this box blade simply b/c it's what they had on the lot...

Get out a saw and trim to length.

Tractor Supply is about $3 for a 3-2 lower lift arm bushing, $2.30 for a 2-1 lower lift arm bushing. For two of each it is 10.58 and throw in about a buck for the great state of NY and I'm about 11.50. This assumes a very narrow gap or close enough that you don't need any more bushings. Most of my landpride stuff takes one to fill the gap or be "close enough" This is for a clevis style connection. I don't know if everyone uses the stacked 3-2 to 2-1 to the pin to remove all the gap or if you need to, but it is what I do.

If you are fitting something with an open pin, TSC sells those quick hitch bushing kits for 29.99 that slide on the pin and lock in with a roll pin. You don't need to use them, but it is an option.

If you got a better source I am all ears.

If you're adapting from Cat 3 to Cat 1 you probably bought the wrong QH.
That is always possible. When I got it they assured me the QH was CAT1, but all of the mounting spots are CAT3. Not the spacing between the pins. Maybe because the MX lines are CAT1/CAT2 ready. The only hitch that seems like it needs no bushings is the speeco which uses both cat1 dimensions sized for cat1 pins.

Bushing down from Cat 2 to Cat 1 is common. Bushing from 3 to 1, not so much. The Landpride QH05 is one that is built correctly for Cat 1 implements.

My Land Pride implements came with the proper bushings which allow no up and down slop. I have never found those size ( OD/ID) anywhere around here including TS. The LP QH and Implement manuals show all the LP lengths. I ordered an assortment plus several long ones If hey fit OK otherwise cutoff the long ones to fit. Cat 1 to Cat 2 bushings OD is not enough. Make sure you have the right OD for snug fit, no slop.
