3 point hitch damage -- not having a good day today.

Here are a few of the pics I was able to get today. Camera was not cooperating with uploading to the computer so it took a bit to get er done..

It is hard for me to tell, but that might not be as bad as I was fearing. Is the broken part separable from the housing?

I didn't try to pull it all the way out but I believe the broken half of the bracket may come out. The large pin you see is the bottom portion of the upper arm hydraulic cylinder and I'm guessing that's what holds the cylinder in place. Unless I'm missing something I don't believe the other side of the bracket will move as it appears to be attached to the housing.

You will have to replace the left brake case only about 600 dollars.

You may try to repair it by welding and reenforcing it once you get it off the tractor.

Been There done that. It's posted here in the Forum for most to see. My guys at West End repaired it and its as good as new

Thanks NC49N. I did go back and review your previous post and while its not quite the same I'm also suspecting this will be an expensive lesson to learn. My tractor is still under warranty so I've about decided to take it back to the dealer for the fix.

I've bent the same arm on my machine twice.

Easy enough to bend back with a shop press or log splitter, as was noted.
