I am vacationing in Central Europe and have noticed several tractors with a 3 point arrangement on the front as well as the rear. One had a pallet lift attached, another had a rotary road sweeper. Anyone ever seen such a thing in the States? I am surprised to see a lot of big (75 plus hp) JD's and MF's. Not many Far East tractors of any size.

Do the tractors with front 3-Pts. have equal size wheels/tires all around?

Big Ag USA tractors are available with front 3-pts as an option.

Quite common on larger farms also. Especially for tillage.

Even little tractors have front hitches, usually with the triangular style quick hitch.

It's becoming more common here and more front mounted implements are becoming available.
If it wasn't so expensive I would add it on a tractor.

Kits are also available for a lot of tractors 50 HP and up.

Front 3 points are widely available/popular in Europe and appear to be catching on in the U.S. but as others have stated there aren't many implements to be found in the US made for front 3pt hitches.

I bet you could get a low lift bucket that would fit that for not many $$.

One of the nicest front 3 point applications I saw was tractor mowing the horse race course in our city in France. Front mower covered tractor width so mowing done be for grass was compressed by tires. With rear wings it covered about 7 meters total. Back here in the USA, like someone said, few attachments for front 3 point.

No, they look like they have a normal tire arrangement. I might add that there are many tractor brands I've never heard of. I saw a vintage tractor probably a 80 hp or so diesel from the 1930's or so in immaculate condition going up the road in Switzerland. Looked like it was still in use.

I think Kubota is the only Japanese brand that had any sales to speak of if you exclude microtractors, Europe is a hard marked to compete in, conservative Asian brands don't quit make it when they meet hitec European tractor use.

I adapted a cheap quick hitch to my loader arms (quick attach bucket). It's handy for moving things around and I can put a boom pole on the front but that's about the only uses I have found.

It's getting more and more common in southern Alberta to see tractors of all sizes with a front three point hitch. Any rear three point hitch pto implement can be used on the larger tractors as the front pto is also set up with the correct rotation. The local md (municipal district) uses rear snowblowers mounted on the front to clean snow off of the streets in the villages and hamlets that they are responsible for.

Also it's not hard to change the mounting of rear mounted row crop cultivators so they can be used in front. Most everything on a tool bar is bolted on.

Lastly if you have a 59 snowblower on a newer John Deere cut with factory mounting most likely it's with a front three point hitch.
