Did you check the fluid level? Also, i don't suspect this is the problem, but is it possible that the blade is too heavy to lift? Have you tried disconnecting and lift the arms with no load?

do you have other hydraulic powered implements which are working OK (e.g. loader)? Good luck. -art

I had a similar problem with my tractor. The rod from the piston to the lift yoke bell out of the yoke and lodged between the culindre and yoke.

Locked up? Meaning it wont go down or up? Specifically what is it doing? Will it go up and not down. If it goes up pump filter and fluid are ok. Even if the pump is on the bench, filter is in your hand and tank is empty it should go down.

Does the engine change tone at all when you try to lift it? Be very specific about what it is and isn’t doing and we can help faster.

Hey guys, thanks for all the input. No, the blade is not too heavy. I had been using a big box blade with no trouble, so the straight blade is much lighter. Plenty of fluid in it. As for the specifics, it is not going up or down. It is stuck in the last position I had it in, which was down. The front end loader is working perfectly. Also, hopefully I jumped the gun on the Vietnam comment, the guy I bought it from said it was "rebuilt" by LCI equipment in Texas. Anyone familiar with them? Thanks again.

There is a large knob under the seat that screws in and out. It is on the assy just below the actual 3pt control. Also, there is a small shaft that comes out of the 3pt control, with a roll pin. The smaller roll pin shaft I've been told should be set mid position and is a rate control. The larger knob should be set full open, or so I've read on here. Search under Koyker loader and power beyond, as I think that is where the information I gave came from.... If the lock is closed off, the 3pt doesn't move.
