3-Point Hitch 3 point lift capacity

I suspect a typo also, look at the specs on the 1910, over 20% more HP, over 25% heavier and 10% greater pump capacity yet the lift capacity is shown as the same as the 1710?

It looks like the 1710 specs are very close to the 1700 except that extra cylinder.

Ray, come back over to the "start aid quit working" thread, I know we kinda hijacked it but let us know what you found out.

Pictures here are just pure foolish play but since the discussion came up regarding the 1700's front end coming up, this rear blade weighs about 500# with the extra weight on it and it will come up even with 4 suit cases on the front, so I don't know how much counter weight you would need on the front if you could lift 3800#'s on the rear!

Wow John, That's extreme tractoring !! I remember as a kid I used to do the wheelies with my bike with the banana seat and later with my dirt bike but no more:D

For all you new owners I have this Ford 1000 Series Specification brocher from 1981 with the all kinds of specifications which includes the following information:

Hydrolic lift capacity at link ends, pounds.
1110 = 881
1210 = 881
1310 = 1432
1510 = 1432
1710 = 3813
1910 = 3813

This is official ford information and the brochure contains much more including:
Engines:
Drive components:
PTO:
Capacities:
Deminsions:

I will be happy to share any of this information to all those that need it. Ray

I have a ford 1600 2 cylinder diesel & would appreciate any of the above information that U may have on it for I'm NOT having too much luck finding much. I thank U for your time & help in this matter. GOD BLESS....

Thanks but I have that info & some others but NONE have the lift capacity. GOD BLESS

Below is the link for 1700 that shows the lift capacity at about 3815 @ lift point. I think this # is in error as my 1700 hasabout 11750 lb of lift at the tip of the lift arm same as TC-30 . Yours must be very close and more than that your front is going to come up.

Good luck lifting 3815 lbs with a 1700. When I put my 3 point backhoe on weighs about 1300 lbs. it will lift it up no problem, but I have to put about 200 lbs of rocks in front bucket to keep the front tires on the ground. Now I have a 1920 and it can handle it better, still a little light in the front, but I can manage.

I'd like to see a picture of your 1700 lifting almost 6 tons.

This is interesting as people have no idea how this number represents the weight being as close to the tractor as possible. My little L model has a decent lift but it achieves it by having short lift arms. A 80 ton crane will pick 80 tons but that is at o feet off the rear. The backhoe is heavy because the center of the weight is not over the lift arms.

Hello People, '

I said that I did not believe 3800 Lb lift capacity, it is verbatim what a website posted. 1750 lbs at 24" aft of pivot point is more like it. I have never lacked lifting power and even with 3 front suitcase weights the front comes up so easily. I have taken out 40 year old, 6" dia post, 4 foot buried out of the ground like tooth pick out of butter but always front came up so had to do it very slowly.
