That is quite a lot of lift for 1710. Can you scan and post the page? I'll be amazed if the info is real and there was no typo involved.

TC-30 I think is about 1700 lbs and pretty much same size as 1700.

JC, I will make you a copy but it might take a day or two as I will photo copy and see if I can either post it or email it. I saved this brochure all these years because I knew it would come in handy at some point in time.
My 3 point will lift the front end of the tractor off the ground even with 3 weights on the front if I get it under a root or large rock.

Ray,
Please let me know if you need any help to post the page. The only time I lift the front end with 3 suitcase weighs is when I'm pulling out a wooden 6"dia post buried 3 feet deep. It'll be amazing to have such a lift capacity for a class I lift. On bigger and beefier 50 hp AG tractor I found the 3 lift to be below 3000 lbs.

Hmm... my 7610s lifts 5684# 24" to rear of the lik ends..and she weighs about 6500# but that 3xxx number on those 1xxx models does seem a wee bit high... I don't recall the exact number on my 1920.. but believe it was 18xx or so..

The specifications and capacities pictured above came from a ford brochure. I don't know if the lift capicity of the 1710 & 1910 are a typo or not. Maybe a current Ford employee can verify if it is correct or printed in error.

JC, Maybe 1813 lbs lift capacity is a more realistic figure for the 1700. The 3813 listing looks high. Also there is a differance in the 1700 & 1710 engine and pump capacities as the 1710 has a 3 cyl engine. I have the owners manual of the 1700 and will be hapy to share any information now that I have learned how to post pictures. Some of the capacities are differant between the 1700 & 1710. My tractor is a 1700 4 Wheel drive and has served me since 1981 with 985 hours on it. I have only had to replace the water pump in all that time plus the recent lift seal replacement. Ray

I do have 1700 Ford amnual and it says nothing about the lift. I'll buy 1800 lbs but quite perplexed with the # you have. What ever it is been plenty enough for my needs.

I suspect a typo also, look at the specs on the 1910, over 20% more HP, over 25% heavier and 10% greater pump capacity yet the lift capacity is shown as the same as the 1710?
It looks like the 1710 specs are very close to the 1700 except that extra cylinder.
Ray, come back over to the "start aid quit working" thread, I know we kinda hijacked it but let us know what you found out.
Pictures here are just pure foolish play but since the discussion came up regarding the 1700's front end coming up, this rear blade weighs about 500# with the extra weight on it and it will come up even with 4 suit cases on the front, so I don't know how much counter weight you would need on the front if you could lift 3800#'s on the rear!
