3-point log splitter.

Built this 3-point log splitter a few years ago for my brother-n-law. Everything came out of the scrap pile. Except the PTO hydraulic pump, and a few of the hoses. Used a piece of 16-inch pipe for the hydraulic reservoir. He has 20-acres of oak trees, so this log splitter beats using a splitting maul!

Smart designing - I like it. The beam seems small, does it twist much? Cyl is what, 3"? I'm glad to see the slider clips (name?) welded to the slider. Mine are with no trouble, but most bolt on. How does he like it?

Seem as my brother-n-law did say the beam does flex some on the real knotty oak. I think the cylinder is 4-inch bore, and 1 1/2-inch or 2-inch shaft. Oh he loves the splitter!
