3 point pulsing/leaking?

Maybe a stupid question but I'll give it a shot.

I have a F15BD and when the 3pt is partially up the implement will drop then lift back up in a pulsing manner. It's like there is a leak then the pump kicks in and lifts the implement. If it's at the top and running the implement will stay there and not pulse up and down. If the implement is up and I shut the tractor down the implement will be on the ground in a few minutes. Sounds like a leak in the system to me but from where I ask?

Also, what does the lever to the inside of the tractor next to the 3pt lift lever do. It doesn't seem to do anything on my tractor?

The F series tractors had tillers with automatic depth control which used that inside lever. I'm not really sure how all of that worked, but I think you raise and lower the tiller with the outer lever, and adjust the tilling depth with the inner lever.

If you got the tiller with the tractor, then there should be a cable arrangement which goes from the tiller to the tractor. The sheath attaches to the tiller with a bracket, and the cable attached to the rear tiller flap. At the tractor end, the sheath is attached to a bracket, with the cable attached to some portion of the hydraulic levers.

So far every F series tractor I have had " pulsed " like you describe.

My 180D pulses just as you describe. I thought it could be something inside with a leak letting the impliment drop slightly, then being pulled back up to the set level.

My fx26d pulses slightly also-and if I remember, my old ford 600 did too-not much of a drop before it raises again-I wouldn't be too worried about it.
