They dropped it off in the mourning while I was at work. My wife was home and they told her it was the mounts that bolt to the tractor were bad. Well... his words were "defective" which caused the mast arms to slip. I still have the same loader, they just replaced the mounts, the masts that sit on the mounts and the latch mechinasim. The loader arms and the bucket are still the same. I was thinking about calling about the hood, but since It was a used 07 model with 158 hrs, I didn't think I would get anywhere. The loader was a new item. I priced a new hood from JD parts, it showed a $1000. I really just need the top piece and new stickers, since they hide the screws that hold it together. I'll post pictures tonight of the scratch on the hood and the tractor itself. I wish I would have taken pictures of the mounts, but I didn't. I really don't have any issues with the deal I got on the tractor itself, just the service department. I got a 2007 3320 with 158hrs, mid pto, power beyond,3rd scv, backhoe mount brackets for my 447 backhoe, cruise control upgrade and a new gator cx for $23400.

Hey everyone...update on my loader and hood. Loader works great. The scratch on my hood has been taken care of with a new hood. The day I got the tractor back, I also recieved a survey from John Deere on my new purchase. I waited until monday night to fill it out. I wanted to be honest not hatefull about my situation with the dealer. I filled it out online carefully and sent it in. Well...Thursday night around 8:00, the owner of the dealership shows up at my door wanting to see the scratch on the hood. He apologizes for everything and wanted to make it right by me. Told me that he's been in and out of town for the last couple of weeks, which he has, and was unaware of the problems with the hood and so on. Friday morning the service men showed up and installed a brand new hood on my tractor. I have to give him a thumbs up for doing what he did. Below are some pics of the new hood and loader mounts and masts.

Thanks...I'm glad everything worked out also. I really got to finally work the 3320 pretty good this past weekend. No problems. I'll keep my eyes open. Must say this is a hoss of a tractor.

I have a 3320 with a 300CX Loader and this is happening to me after 270hours.
It is now out of warranty and I can't seem to get much help with this issue.
I bought a new mounting frame which was showing major wear and that didn't correct the issue and now it seems I need to get a new mast also.

The mast is $380 it was bad enough the mounting frame was $120.

This loader has no more than 40 hours on it as I use my 447 backhoe the most.

I would recommend that people look at another loader option as this one seems to have issues.

Welcome to TBN:D

You have a problem with your machine...There are a few small issues with it-but nothing even close to what you describe! And there are certainly a lot of people here with far more than 40 hours on their FEL's.

One thought is that the mounts on the tractor may be on the wrong sides (left one is on the right-and right one is on the left) We have had two cases of that here from careless dealer installations. After the mounts where swapped the issues disappeared.

Why don't you let us help you fix yours instead of condemning a whole series of attachments please?

Were you having issues earlier, but they weren't enough to make you consider executing your warranty rights with your dealer?

I'll throw my observations in here. I was one of the TBNer's with the mounts on the wrong side. Since make the switch all issues with my loader are gone. As for the fel seeming loose I've come to realize with any loader (regardless of paint color) that's quickly removed the mounting system just isn't as solid as the loaders that don't come off. For me I rarely take off the loader so it wouldn't be a big deal if I couldn't remove it. So it would seem to me that if you need to remove the loader then you need to expect to give up some rigidity to have the convience of easy removal. But if you want rock solid loader mounting I suggest you look for non removable loader. On a side note I lifted a shade over 2000lbs of retaining wall blocks out of the bed of my truck with my 300x loader. While I really didn't expect to be able to lift it the deere performed flawlessly and the loader was completly solid.
