Update: Browneyesvictim was most likely correct. We filled the tank with fresh diesel and mowed with it for a couple of hours. The sluggishness seems to have cleared itself. Engine and hydraulics are once again responsive. Thanks! We love this tractor.

Maybe had some air bubbles in the fuel system due to the filter change. Glad it worked out for ya.
