how do you ajust the 3 point i can't hold a certain level it's up or down

If you have a 3020 JD, You have a lever on the right side, below the seat about floor level. It has 3 settings. Try going to a different position. Ken Sweet

The 3020 has load and depth control as was eluded to by sweettractors I would move this lever to the middle position L+D first. This tractor also has position control and has linkage that must be working correctly to accomplish this. It has been thirty years since I have dealt with a 3020 myself but I am sure that others on the Deere Ag tractor section are more familiar with the linkage and can help you out. If Bri doesn't see this then repost your questions there to get some help.
