3025E Hydraulics Shuddering on FEL

Don't know, but suspect the oil may be contaminated with metal and is throughout the system. Deere probably/maybe knows, but hope they have run oil tests to at least count that out. As I understand, not easy to find the source.
Have heard of oil contamination possibilities on two other forums.. one dealing with Deere machine and the other possible with Kubota.

OK more info from nephew..

Problem is not Fixed over 2-3 weeks there

80 hours now, dealer put about 12 more hours on it. Dealer also replaced PRV valve.

Tractor still will shake while running without moving controls not really rhythmic, but does repeat sometimes at ~2-4 times a second

No foam in oil.

The shake is worst when lifting the FEL boom and actuating the Valve 0-30%

Dealer also set the New PRV @ 2900 PSI- Wow

Nephew needs the tractor. i asked about the fluid and filters. He said he thinks the first change is at 200 hours but is going to check.

So dealer must not have changed oil or filters.

All i know for now.

I just find it weird that this problem has not come up before on a 3025E hydro in the past.

Not sure but thought they have been building the 3000E series Deere's for close to a decade now??

I’m about to start tracking down same issue first noticed the shutter in my loader then If I turn off the tractor and leave it in gear, On a hill(my whole property is a hill.) it will do a similar shutter rolling down the hill very slowly, now
Like a click-click-click and it moves a inch at a click. I have 500 hours on my 2014 3038e. And first noticed the shutter doing a bunch of dirt work last week. When the load is up 20 to 100 percent with full bucket. Or in gear turned off.

Interesting

At this point it appears the dealers/Deere's attitude is that since the tractor "functions" to use it until it either breaks or reaches the first oil change, hydrostat filter at 100 hours ( which is working fine) and then full oil change and the main filter at 400 hours.

Can't say he is impressed with a jerky loader and a noise / vibration that should not be there- and wasn't there during the first hours put on the tractor.

Had it acted like this when he was loading up the tractor when it was purchased it would have been backed off the trailer and refused it and a different 3025E off the lot chosen.

I asked him whether he thought he is receiving any better service or overall experience than possibly having bought a TYM, Kioti, Branson or LS tractor he was also considering.

He said No.

Having a 10 year warranty, multiple close JD dealers, and the Yanmar engine swung him to the JD.

He still really likes the tractor but is frustrated. Under 100 hours and basically told to live with it.

That wouldn't wash with me. My problem with that is the more you run the tractor the closer you get to the end of the warranty and if you have something that does take time to show it's head it may be too late. But that's just my paranoia. If the dealer is good there shouldn't be any issues. But if he is completely dissatisfied he should talk to an attorney. Sometimes there just is no other way.

yeah up here this model gets sold with a 10 year warranty included.

Some warranty, when they tell you to live with a jerky loader/ shudder that i wouldn't put up with on my 27 year old china tractor.

I really do wonder How he would be doing with the Branson that he considered.

I really thought it was the best deal that we test drove and tractor for the money, Branson dealer had a 3015 H on the lot for basically the same price as JD 3025e

The Yanmar engine was the biggest decider and it has been flawless.

I think he really wants to keep the Deere, - it does make a nice companion to his Model R Deere

Wow that's funny i posted on that thread about disconnecting /re connecting the quick connects.

If the filter /screen is the problem it would worry me that there is a LOT of metal in the system.
And with only about 68 Hours on it before the dealer put another 12 on it , that there could be some wear/damage going on.

I will tell him to expedite the filter change and screen cleaning (if it has one).
