3032E non-removable loader

I dont understand why it is non-removable. Maybe not quickly removable. I had an older tractor that didn't have a quick-tach system to remove the loader frame but it was just 4 pins (2 for the loader arms and 2 for the hydraulic rams). I then put in 4 quick disconnects in the hoses. I had an old swingset that my father built that we parked it under wrapped a chain around the loader frame to hold it in place. We then pulled the 4 pins and disconnected the hoses and backed away. It initially took about 20 minutes to do this but after a couple times I can unhook it in about 7-10 minutes and hook it back up in about 10-15 minutes. For a couple times a year it wasnt bad. I would want to do it every week though.

As opposed to pins, this loader is bolted at the base of each mast. It would be a royal pain, and even a greater pain to re-mount.

I was really talking about the whole frame coming off just the front part. Pulling the 4 pins and adding quick disconnects. This is how I did it on my old 8n loader frame.

My dealer has a low opinion of the E series tractors. I asked about them because their modest price and high power to weight ratio really appealed to me. For some reason, so did their stying and size, both of which I like. They seem a little bigger than a 2000 series but not as big as a 3000 series. My dealer listed a lineage of reasons why he does not like them, one of them being the "permanently" fixed loader mounts. He says as soon as one buys one there will be some reason to disconnect the loader and it won't come off. I guess he has a point there. There have only been two or three times my dealer has refused to let me buy something, and this was one of those. I guess we can take that for its worth.

I'm not sure what the problem with a non-removable loader is either. I've got the 300CX on my 3520, and I'd much prefer a "permanent" system. The number of times I've had my loader off is exactly zero. The loader really doesn't stick out too far without the bucket if you need more maneuverability. At least in my opinion.

Most of my use is loader work, and I have a removable loader. Although I don't take the loader off very often, getting it out of the way makes doing the 200-hour maintenance chores a lot easier. Also having the loader off made it easier to do some of my modifications to the tractor.

However, I do feel a non-removable loader will be more rigid, the ease of doing major maintenance and if a worse case scenario of major repair is required, having the loader out of the way makes life easier.

I see what you are saying as far as the frame on your 8N. On the 3032E, I don't know that there are actually pins in those locations. I know there are grease zerks in those areas, but I don't know that the frame can be disconnected there.

Thanks for the idea.

I suspect you'll find a 24MM nut on the side opposite the grease zerk. If the nut is removed the pin / zerk can be removed. The head of the zerk is slightly offset from the "pin" so the shaft does not spin, so effectively it can only be inserted in one position.

That is how my upper pins on the 8n where. You could only put them in one way. the lower pins did not have grease zerks into the pins. The zerk was in the end of the hydraulic ram.
