Another option is to add a cab to a tractor, such as a curtis. This might be a cheaper and open up the options of used tractors. A factory cab would by far be the nicest and be set up for heat, air, defrost and wipers.
The tractor will be new or slightly used. Which ever she chooses will have a factory cab as this isn't a case of making due as she has access to a fleet of 20+ tractors. This is a case of her wanting her own tractor to play with.
I am familiar with Curtis cabs as I have one on one of my loader tractors and while it is nice when it is raining it really does lack in the creature comforts that only a factory cab can give as you mentioned. Thanks for bringing up the option as it may be of use to others viewing this thread.
