Been there done that many times. A branch can swipe a full can of beer off the fender quicker than you can blink. Would this be considered a engineering defect? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
3120, 3320, 3520, 3720 - how to decide?

If possible, test drive (use them) both and see which one feels better to you. As a former Kubota owner, I was leaning towards a new Grand Series machine. I friend of mine who has several JD's in his company, insisted that I look at the JD's. I did, I bought, I like! Like any tool or machine, untill you get it in your hands and use it, you'll never really appreciate the small subtle differences that make one machine better or worse FOR YOU than another. Take your time and try them out. Good luck.

Came from the same mindset originally before I turned green. My last thought just before it happend was a B3030. In another post you will see I admitted taking my wife to look at it. Even at eight and half months pregnant she climbed aboard took it on a whirling test drive that ended with her sticking it in a ditch. The salesman and I laughed and I told her the proper way to cross a (and it was not a big ditch, just had some wet grass in the bottom), ditch was to cross it on the diagonal and with that yes, I tried it while no one was looking. Did it backwards to make sure I didnt sent the small front wheel straight into the ditch first off. Even backwards, in low range (another mistake she made) and in 4 wheel lock, the back wheels made it but as soon as the last front wheel was coming through it got stuck. Those small wheels are obviously better designed to be anchors. Tried to get the machine out using the bucket to push, no go. Salesman came out and almost turned it over trying same. nothin doin. a guy with a winch had to save him.
That afternoon I gave up on light weight tractors and went to the deere dealer. Not to say no one has ever had a pucker incident but I it felt more solid and I forgot about the 3030.

Definitely NOT a $3400 jump between 3320 and 3520.

Hey Lawnjocky -- I'm really glad I'm not the only who's discovered the multi-uses of the Cool-box. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I usually just cram in few extra's in with all my lynch pins and basic tools. Now what I have to check -- Are there built in drain holes so you actually fill with ice and make it a real cooler? The versatility of these machines never ceases to amaze me.

No drains so when you try to wash out the dust...
I'll add that I can lift and dump at the same time, but it takes finesse. I've done this with the pallet forks trying to level out as I raise or lower.

Yes, I'd like to know what the final purchase was as well. I'll be in the market in about 6 weeks, the 3720 looks pretty good for what I want and need. Here's a topo map of the terrain I'll be dealing with, my house is the one on the left side of the photo, the grassy area is about 4 acres.
