I just bought a 2011 3316 and just noticed when I was climing a sandy hill at an angle my right front wheel would not pull while the left front wheel would spin in the sand and the only way that I could get unstuck was to engage the rear differential. Any one have any suggestions on what might be wrong or does the front right wheel not turn also. Please give me some advice. Thanks

If both wheels turned while you are making a turn, in forewheel drive you could not make sharp turns. One wheel needs to freewheel in a turn. Jim

It is working properly.

+1 normal

every axle will do it unless it has a diff lock or limited slip diff

Your rear wheels were doing the same, until you engaged the diff lock which sends power to both wheels.
