Mowing 3320 6'or5' brush hog

Well its 2022 and I ended up with a 6' First choice used for $300 and it seems fine with the loader on for weight and getting un stuck I do have to go slower in thick hay over 2 feet high but all seems well. My issues is the hay winding on the mid pto which I just had the seals repaired do to no guard and it wrapped around the shaft

Maybe need to switch off or remove the mid PTO shaft when using the brush hog.

I use a 7’ flail with no issues
