Just to give you an idea of my concerns, I am over 6'6" so I always have to take into consideration the "size" of things. That is one of the reasons I didn't get the cab, too hard to get in and out. The $6000 price tag was a bit of a deterrent as well. Thanks for answering my questions, I really appeciate it.

I went with the canopy and am sure that it was the right thing. Mine has lights and a sound shield so the exhaust noise is way down at my ear level. A day mowing or baling was costing my hearing. Its also a great rifle rest for the Remington when the woodchucks appear. I've hung a curtain off the back and sides on days when the wet snow just keeps coming and managed to stay dry. Sure its not the same as a Sound-Gard on a 4430, but I can still dream, can't I?

Glad I could help. A little more info. I just sat and measured and when I'm on the seat (compressed down a little bit) I have 18" over my head to the top of the canopy (Which is probably 3" higher than the perimeter square tubing frame).

Even at 6'6+ I think you'd have room while operating but you would definitely have to bend a little bit to get in and out. And you wouldn't be able to stand up at all without hitting your head.

One other thing is that the non-cab tractors (The ROPS's) are significantly higher than the roofs on the cab tractors. I guess they deliberately made the cab tractors low since you can't fold a cab. If you look at the specs (You might have to download a manual) for the cab vs non cab height you'd get an idea of the difference. Also you'd gain an extra few inches since there is no headliner, etc. in the canopy.
