I traded in my x720 with 62" deck for the 3320 with 72D". This will give me more flexibility in running multiple implements.

You should hook up the aerator to the 3320 that would be a great combination with the mower!

What are you using the loader ports for? Is the scv selector handle a new option? That's quite a step up from a lawn mower to 3000 series. Are you using these deere's for work or at home?

-Control for raise and lowering deck-

Is the scv selector handle a new option?
-It is the new way for Deere to put remotes out the back. All electro-hydraulic now vs the old 3rd scv seperate lever-

-Little bit of both...I have several acres that I maintain for others plus my own land-

Very nice pics!

I always liked the 3320 (especially with the cab, but I see you already have a larger cabbed Deere)...Let us know how the 3320 works out for mowing...A little bigger then the X...eh? ;)

Yes it is a bit bigger than the x720 but I think it will work very well for my mowing. I like the idea that I can use either tractor with most of the implements.

Oooo. That's what my 2520 wants to be when it grows up.

I think that was wise to take the bull by the horns and jump straight from the X to the 3000 series, assuming there is a need for such equipment of course.

I have owned a variety of tractors in the past 10 years. I knew the 2x20 was not the way for me to go. I have owned the following and probably more...

JD 285
Ford 1600
Kubota B7500
JD 4500
JD 4115
JD 4120 (x2 2004 and 2008 models)
JD 5203
JD 2520
JD 3320 (x2 2007 and 2011 models)
JD 2320
JD 445
JD x485
JD x720
JD 4720 CAB (current)

Does anybody here have experience with the 72D auto connect?? Any tips or advice for taking the mower on or off??

Thanks!

don't try to attach or remove the mmm with the fel mounted. it will hit the front link and on mine bend the spring loaded rod. remove the fel first. bud

Very nice setup!

Did not consider that many of the attachments will be interchangeable between the 4720 and the 3320... that will give you added flexibility as well as efficiency!!

I also noted that you worked out a compromise with your dealer on the MX-7...

With the 4520-4720 horsepower increases on the 2009 models it would seem to make sense that Deere would reconfigure the MX-7 to be iMatch compatible. Both tractors (with proper ballasting) should be able to handle the larger mower in most situations.

Deere's missing out on some sales and satisfied customers!

Yes I was very disapointed to find out the mx7 was not setup for imatch even though the sales manual says it is.
