I have the older x-change with the spring type system ( not the pin that the new ones have ) The bucket has about 1.125 inches of slop in it. It appears that the x-change piece does not go far enough into the bucket receiving piece.

My first guess is pivot pin on the spring latch is bent. Item #19 in the drawing.
