None of this was at all possible at any time other than winter during freeezeup. I had to run across with snowshoes on in the summertime, lol. And that was just one way.. running back I had to take a little bit different route or I’d would sink.

I found an auto glass place that was sympathetic (lol) to my endeavor and helped me out with 5 or 6 of these windshield crate bottoms at a time. I used them more than you can imagine. So helpful for so many things. I drove the little kubota across these to get out to the corduroy. Then I put them down again to span a few spots then more, then more, then again to access my land on the other side.

Here I made it across to the other side and hard ground. Then I stopped and built the log arch and towed it across with the B6100D. That was a fantastic day let me tell you. There have been many landmark days.

first pic is backing in with a log and building the road back from the dry side with the tractor to meet the other side from the previous winter (2019). Second pic is part of the wrecking crew:)

Brutal work. The road isnt the hardest part not by a long shot. The hard part is out in the forrest cutting down trees and stacking branches and deadfalls, green with green, big with big dry with dry, etc. etc. If if I didn’t I would end up with an absolutely impenetrable mess. But that’s where the real work is on the road for sure
