Man talk about bad luck. I'm a Cummins truck lover and it breaks my heart to see your truck take a beating like that. Take the insurance money and get a newer one.

That is just an awful set of circumstances. If you wrote that up in a book or movie, I don't think people would believe that could happen.

I think I would take it as a sign to get a new truck.

Hate to see a good 12 valve CTD getting such a bad shake. Had a 97 3500 myself and loved it. Such a simple and cheap truck to mod for major gains. Have an 03 now and love it, also. Sounds like it's time for a new Cummins! Good luck with the insurance co.

Sorry for the bad luck. I also had a 97 Cummins and hate to see yours go out like this. Maybe one of the new 2014 air ride Cummins Rams is in your future!
