3710 Backhoe issues......HELP

working all morning. then it felt like it lost pressure when lifting bucket out of hole. it wouldn't lift so I checked for blown lines or any leaks and have found none. fluid is full. if I stay on the controls it will take 5-10 seconds of super slow movement then it kicks on and works normally. until I release controls then have to start all over again and wait 5-10 seconds for it to move or lift.

I am thinking it could be the pressure relief valve.... but I cannot find it and have searched the location on this forum to no success.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

forgot to mention FEL and everything else works fine.

Check your manual for where the main relief is. Pull that relief and look under it. There should be an inlet spool and spring in there. I bet the spring is broken. If it is, you can get a kit. 0580-6295 is the part number.

Agree. We had a few of those break out of the dozens of 3710s we sold. The good news is the replacement springs seem to last forever. Jeremy, thanks for listing the part number, that will make life easier for the customer.

Hopefully it helped. I know that part is not actually listed in the manual so it would be tough to locate. One thing I should say is I don't check in here NEAR as much as I used to, so people that have questions can always PM me... I will get the email notification that way.
