3710 clutch replacement

My 3710 has only 1000 hrs and the clutch went on it. I've been quoted $2,500 plus labor to replace the clutch and I don't think it's worth that investment. Any suggestions on repair or perhaps selling it for tractors parts? Tractor is in great shape.

That's a good tractor you have there. A 3710 in good cond., with 4wd and HST, is on the market for $13,500 on one of the online sites right now. That might be high, and I don't know what yours would bring, but maybe you shouldn't be so quick to assume it's not worth very much. If yours is a gear drive, 2wd, maybe it won't be so pricey, but Kubota's in any kind of decent condition hold their value pretty well.

hi new member here.a possible problem may be the clutch fork shaft is frozen up.Check your operators manual for possible grease points.Mine was frozen up,discovered problem after I split my tractor which did not have zirks for the shaft but I do now.Good luck
