3PH finishing mower or belly mower?

Just so you know, I've seen 4 foot self contained rear mowers with an offset tow bar for use near ditches and soft turf areas around water etc.. They weren't nearly as expensive as I'd have guessed and because they have their own self contained motor, the offset bar doesn't have to double as a pro drive bar which keeps the design and cost down substantially.

That's something to consider, I'll keep an eye out for a used one. I won't use it often enough to buy a new one.

I wouldn't make it deal breaker not to get a Unit without the Mid mower, when I bought my used TLB, I ended scoring a like new 60" of Craigslist for 700 bucks. Just have to have the cash ready to go, accessories for the GC sell Fast.

Right now I'm thinking just get the tractor/loader without the MMM. I can finance it much better, get the MMM in a couple months when actually I need it, and just pay cash for it. Might get lucky and find one cheaper than the $2500 the dealer wants.

Just a couple suggestions.

1. Many times the rebates/discounts tie into having 2 implements - so if you have a fel and something else (like an mmm) - it makes bigger discounts.

2. No body told me when I was buying in 2015, but sometimes if you put 10% down - you can get the 0% AND the discounts.

3. AGCO owns a finance company - as a result - the Massey dealers have numerous other finance programs at low rates and those low interest programs allow the rebates and discounts. In other words - you aren't "required" to pay cash to get the discounts - and if the finance incentives and the discounts work together - you'll not take all your cash away.

4. AGCO insurance - do not forget to ask about it - if the dealer says they don't have it - tell them to check again - as they do. The insurance is a fantastic value on the purchase of any Massey product. It covers all the many many things that homeowners doesn't cover - and if your insurance agent tells you you don't need it - be prepared to surprise them - because you don't need a rider on your policy - and the coverage is so cheap - in my case it was less than $300 for the entire 5 years of coverage (yes - less than $60 a year).

Just suggestions.

There is a $200 discount for 2 implements. May have to re-think that.
Trying to keep the payment as low as possible, so putting down as much as possible.
Will work out payments both ways.
Good info on insurance, will compare. I was told insurance is required on the new tractor.

Discount right now $200 only applies to Woods implements.
Putting down amount I sold Simplicity Prestige for, gets me $111 payment for 72 months, at 4.74%. It would be $125 at 0% because they price the tractor different if buying at 0% interest. I don't now how that's legal, but they get their money one way or another.
Buying tractor/loader, and going back in a couple months to get MMM, which I should be able to pay cash for, since I would have to add that amount to get the low payment. Why finance the mower deck? Besides, I may get lucky and find a slightly used one for less.
Tractor covered under homeowners insurance, would cost about $60yr from MF.
Now if only the Simplicity buyer doesn't back out.

My point is simple, a homeowner's policy does cover a few things regarding a tractor. But unlike a lawn mower, a tractor has many things not covered in a homeowner's policy like a tip over or floods or full overage on theft or off premise or transport situations etc. etc.. Jmho.

Unless of course you add a rider to your homeowner's which will still not cover all the things the MF insurance will and in my case when I checked, a rider on my homeowner's per year would have been what I paid for 5 years coverage on the mf insurance.
