here's a bucket i made for my 3pt hitch,
made it out of an old diesel storage tank i was given and had the other bits lying around waiting to be used.
the hydralic ram i found in a skip with 3 others and the hoses as well. so all it has cost me is a bit of time and consumables.

view of the hydralic ram and of the piece i had to make to raise the height of the top link fixing. with the ram in the standard position when tipped it ended up in line with the lower link arms and not at an angle to enable it to tip back up.
with the extension piece it works ok now.

Looks like a very handy bucket, and clever design and clean fabrication.
Thanks for posting.
By the way, what is a 'skip' where you found the rams?

I do believe on our side of the pond, we call them dumpsters.

Nice looking attachment, especially for the price /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Very ingenious indeed – this makes me wonder how many tractor and implement companies are going to copy your work.

10 Euro's eh? Thats about 40 bucks here /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Naw, not really, but with the sagging dollar it may seem that way /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Great job, and nice pics too. It looks like a practical addition and some very creative design work. Just curious, what seems to be the most popular tractor brands in France?

Hey thanks for the kind words. its given me confidence to post other project pics when i have some. might even paint the bucket and post that.

A skip is a big garbage bin sometimes worth looking through.

The main tractors here in France seem to be NH, Renault, John Deere and don't know if you have these in the states Fendt. the small farms have a lot of Someca (Fiat), Zetor Same and of course Renault. As it is very rural here most people seem to have there own tractors. The price of old second hand tractors is really high here and nobody seems to want to sell anyway. that is the reason i imported both of my tractors from the UK. (IH414 and Iseki tu220f)
