I just finished up a 3pt mounted hay spear. Nothing too special, but I thought I’d post the details in case someone else is looking to make one.
For Category II
Lower Beam Width: 40 Inches
Distance Between Lower Link Pins: 32.5 (Inside) & 36.5 (Outside)
Height of Main Spear: 14 Inches from Lower Links (on center)
Length of Main Spear: 42.5 Inches (exposed length – sticking out the rear)
Length of Lower Spears: 17 Inches (exposed length – sticking out the rear)
Distance Between Small Spears: 26 Inches (on center)
Height of Top Link: 19 Inches from Lower Links (on center)
Lower Link: 2 Inch Gap Spacing With 1 1/8 Inch Pins
Top Link: 2 Inch Gap Spacing With 1 Inch Pins
The main spear and lower spears are removal with a nut/bolt mounted in the opposite side. I turned the smaller spears myself and bored out holding sockets. The main stock is 3x4x3/16 square tubing.
FEL mounted hay spear is next on the list, then some sandblasting and painting.

My welding has improved somewhat over the past few years.
