go to youtube and search vintage massey ferguson tractor commercials and its there. great concept, but I have a feeling one of the safty first people had something to do with it being no longer available. but it's really a cool Idea.

I remember seeing one in action on an old N series ford. they sure are/were neat. would be really nice to have for changing tread widths in an instant.

Back in the 1960's my father-in-law told me that the old timers use to chain logs to their tires to get unstuck, but I thought he meant parallel to the axle. This looks effective and actually safer than having a log roll up the back of the tire and maybe hit you in the back, if you didn't stop in time.

They probably did it with old Model A trucks too.

He was born in the 1920's.
