I am looking for ideas on storing my 3pt log splitter when not in use. Currently setting it down on some blocks with boards on top of them, but I would like a better solution. Anyone build something that works well?

No, just a simple 3 Pt hitch model that runs off the hydro, had rear remotes put on the BX2360, works really well.

I have a small out building, really just a oversized one car garage where the tractor lives. So I certainly like the idea of a larger building, but for now I was just thinking of a storage rack of some kind.

Mine's been just sitting out for years. I'd also like something better. I thought about wheels for the hitch pins so I could roll it into the hay mow.

If you dont have one you need to build a 60 x 80 barn and store it in a loft in the back, that way it wont take up any room needed for other items...

Problem is he will soon need a bigger barn, lol, know I did. Wait a second mine was only 30' x 48' my mistake should have doubled it, lol. Barns are like cupboard space the more you have the more junk you will have on the shelves, but hey we can always use more junk.

I really do not think that it will stand up like that, but I am going to take a look tonight, that would helpful. I also like the idea of a cart on wheel, so I can roll it around.

Thanks for the ideas so far. And yes, I will need a bigger barn...

When I got my rampsplitter in 08 I had them make two legs for the back that mount on the 3PT pins and one Y stand pinned on the front. The Y pin is removable so I can lower to the ground for bigger logs.

This setup is easily slid on the concrete floor - I store it on one side of barn - to hook up I slide it out, pin on the center hook, connect the HYD hoses and I am splitting. I have the B21 TLB so I use the BH connection for the Hyd lines - also means I can leave the BH attached.

Takes about 3 minutes to slide out, hook up and go.

Sweet, that is the one I have. I may call them about that, or learn to weld. :)
