3PT Snowblower

I found a nearly new 5 ft Hayban 2 stage snowblower. The used implement dealer said it was never used. I got a down payment on it. For a total cost of 750.00 dollars. this is half the price of the next cheapest farm king or allied. It looks in great shape with little rust. with steel prices elevated does this sound good? has anyone heard of Hayban? located in racine wisconsin? I'm from wisconsin and nver heard heard about them? Help Deere Gang?

Sounds good to me. I bought a used 3 pt back in the spring that cost me $635.25. It was exactly the right size for my 2210. It came from a auction where it was obvious that the owner took really good care of everything.
I couldn't find any other blower locally that came close to the price. They started around $1800 and were slightly larger units. The front mount unit from JD would've been around $2900.
Given the level of use it will see, and the price difference I can live with backing up.

For posts like this, you might be better off going to the general forums and posting under attachments becuase more people will read about it. The blower is not a JD blower it will work with any 3pt unit.

As for its price, I believe you got a great deal. I have a 60" Farm King, purchased in December and I paid $1400. I've never heard of the brand you found, but if it looks sturdy enough, then it probably is. And at the price you are paying, I think you are getting a deal.
