3rd function - help me decide

Couple of things wrong with this, first it's single action, not double action. Not sure it has power beyond... and the pressure rating it on the low side.

I would go diverter valve. Think that's your best option for the performance you are after and at the best cost.

A push button will be added. Usually they are on the FEL joystick. But I've saw them foot operated. Push the button and the bucket roll function is disabled and the pressure is diverted to the 3rd function. Release the button the the pressure is diverted back to the roll function.

Coming to that conclusion myself. This looks like it will do the job. Connect the lines coming from the FEL valve to one of the rollback cylinders to the P1 and P2 ports, then run lines from C and D ports to the rollback cylinder, and lines from A and B ports go to the thumb cylinder. Mount a pushbutton on the joystick knob and run wires around the loader arms down to the solenoid. Right?

This morning we installed a third mid mount SCV on our 5083E. The kit came with new joystick handle, new supply lines, new valve, and wiring harness. Took about 4 hours.
Yes, it was expensive. However, we just purchased a Kuhn Accumulator and bale grabber.

So we weigh the option of diverter switch or using rear remote. But when moving bales, speed and the ability to adjust boom, bucket and grabbing all at same time is a must!

Finally got this installed - wish I'd known the A/B ports were too close to thread in standard 90s... cost me a few days getting extra fittings. But it's hooked up now! I don't have the thumb cylinder hooked up yet, so the ports for that are just capped, and hydraulic oil is leaking out of them. Is it normal for these valves to leak a little from one spool to the other?
