An old mechanic friend pulls his travel trailer behind his Dodge Cummins to Arizona each winter. Snowbird.
One November I let him use my shop to do some brake work on his trailer. When he returned home the following March he presented me with a stack of 4.5 inch cutting discs that he had bought from a flea market. I tried one and they barely cut. Probably HF returns or rejects. In retrospect I’m probably fortunate it didn’t blow up in my face.
I bundled them up with tape so I would know not to use them and I think they are still in the back of a cupboard.
I will throw them out today.
