</font><font color="blue" class="small">( <font color="blue"> I'm seriously thinking about buying a Stihl (or maybe Echo)

-----------
Go with a Stihl forget the Echo.
The Stihl has more crankshaft bearings than the Echo has.
It's almost impossible to tangle weeds around the shaft of my Stihl. And it's easer to clear the weeds it they do happen to tangle.I have never seen another trimmer work as well on that. )</font>
They need more bearing because they are running more off the crankshaft .The stihl has over 35 moving parts compared to echos 6. The new shield on the trimmers reduce the weed build up.
