I just saw this thread. I have been away to see the western daughter and grandkids.
I really like your saw. Pretty clever. Looks like you had a ton of fun planning and building it. Doesn't matter how long it took. And it makes some nice boards too and right off the bat. I have been thinking for a while that if I were younger I would buy a band saw mill. But they are pretty expensive to just fool around with like I would do. Looking at what you did for the money you spent is very impressive. Got me thinking again - thanks for sharing your ideas.
