My bucket level indicator fell off on my 400x . The bolt holding the cylinder was still in place but the nut was missing. The parts person at the dealership said 3 washers were also missing, but when I put the thing back together there was no way that the washers would fit and still have enough threads on the bolt so I only installed the nut although seems it could easily come apart again as it will not stay tight. Has anyone else had this problem? The tractor is a 4520.

The dealer is right, there are three washers that go on the bolt then the indicator goes over them, reason for the washers is that they space the nut out far enough to allow the indicator to swivel, if it were tight then it would bend and something would have to give. I am guessing that it may not have been torqued when it was setup at the dealer, I went out to break mine loose and you could tell mine was torqued
