The gasser should be a 12 volt system -- Diesels are 24 volt. As for a gas burner fuel usage is going to be high but the tractor probably has not been run as hard a diesel would have been. There was a farmer around here that had/has a 4020 propane. A gasser should also be cheaper than a diesel.
