Hi all,

I have a 4025 with no fluid in the tires. Can someone give me an idea where the tip over point might be. In degrees if you could or a general idea if not. Will it go where my 8n will go?
I was just out mowing by my pond and I avoided the more inclined areas where I took the 8n. I think I may just be overly cautious but better paranoid than drowned, right?
Any ideas are appreciated.

My 3525 w/o front end loader easily goes where my 2n goes and many more places due to traction, it seems scarier because you sit higher but the footprint is almost identical.

A lot of this will depend on how far out you have your tires. I think I'd always feel a bit safer with a newer machine since the brakes and power are greatly improved. Not to mention that wierd ROPS thing they put on tractors these days :).

Each situation is different. I don't think you'll find a golden tip over rule. Terrain and soil types and ruts etc will all be factors.

Thanks guys,

It is good to know that it will keep up and surpass the N ford in where it can go. I guess what I wanted was that all things being equal would the N and the 4025 behave the same. The answers helped.
I called my dealer and he said 12 to 15 degrees max on a good surface.
Tim, you are exactly right in that the increased height of the seat exaggerates the fear factor. It looks alot worse than it is.
Well, out to mow...I mean play.
